Photomerge

This is my photomerge of the panoramic shots I took. I love the photomerge tool in Photoshop, I thought it was so cool. I am excited to continue using it. I was happy with how this turned out for my first try. Now that I feel comfortable with it I can start taking pictures of prettier things, other than parking lots. I did a little editing to this picture. I cropped it down to get rid of the empty spaces along the top and the sides. I also added some color to the empty spots that remained since the photomerge didn't align the sides perfectly.

These are the pictures I took to use my for my panoramic shot. I am planning on retaking a better shot but this is what I got to do for now. I wasn't sure how much I should have the pictures overlap so these overlap quite a bit but now I know for next time.

Template and Clipping Mask

I decided to use a ready-made template until I have the chance to make my own. I placed the pictures on the individual layers and then added a clipping mask to make it look like it was in the frames. This was a lot of fun.

I had a lot of fun with this project. I edited most of these photos in Photoshop either adjusting the contrast and balance, or messing around with the levels. I tried to keep all the pictures as real looking as possible and made sure I didn't get carried away with the edits. My main focus was to enhance the pictures to make them look their best.

I tried to take some candid portrait shots to get people who weren't posing as well as people who were ready for the camera. I like them both and definitely want to continue working on portrait shots.

Adjustment Layers Edit

I did an adjustment layer on this photo and made the levels darker. I liked the contrast in this photo better than the original.
